Saltwater Scrapbook Part 2 | Lindy Stitches
Set sail with the most adorable seaside stitch! Octopus, seagull, and parrot, OH MY! Saltwater Scrapbook is a collaborative project with Jeannine McGowan of The Blue Flower, who did Part 1. Part 2 is my contribution and contains the group of five shown below. Add her four to complete the piece, or just stitch which smalls are your favorite!
STITCH COUNT: Each square is 61 x 61 stitches
SIZE on 32 count: 12.3 x 10 inches. Fits in an 11 x 14 inch frame!
FABRIC: 32 count Vintage Blue Whisper linen was used for the full model. 40 count Silvermist linen by Hand Dyed Fabrics by Stephanie was used for the individual pillows
STITCHES USED: Full cross stitch, back stitch, french knot
FLOSS: DMC, Weeks Dye Works. =
FLOSS LIST: The same Weeks Dye Works are used for Part 1 and 2, and one skein of each color will provide enough for the full project. You’ll need Weeks Dye Works Bark, Bright Leaf, Cadet, Red Rocks, Sandcastle, and Twilight. (Thread packs available from Topknot!)
