Mythical and Magical Creatures still exist in the island kingdom of Wildermere where Queen Isolde has declared it illegal to hunt these extraordinary beasts. Once a year, though, a representative of each species volunteers to take part in the Magical Menagerie, spending the day in a hanging enclosure so the people of Wildermere can see the wonderous creatures up close. This is the resplendent and colorful Phoenix! On a rare year, Wildermere residents may witness the Phoenix burst into flames and reappear as a baby chick.
